July 6 – 8th Sunday after Pentecost
Today we celebrate Communion at both services. Rev. Benjamin Broadbent preaches on Matthew 11. His sermon is entitled "Crisis at the Table."
July 13 – 9th Sunday after Pentecost
Today is our annual Folk Music Sunday, coordinated by Paul Schwotzer. Rev. Broadbent preaches a sermon on Genesis 25:19-34, the story of the birth of Esau and Jacob.
July 20 – 10th Sunday after Pentecost
Today is our annual Open & Affirming (ONA) Sunday. Clare Twomey, a 3rd year student at Iliff School of Theology who just completed a year-long internship at Church in the Wildwood (UCC) in Green Mountain Falls, is our preacher. The Colorado Springs PrideFest follows the 11:00 service and all are invited to join our church’s delegation.
July 27 – 11th Sunday after Pentecost
Today the Flute Choir provides worship music and Rev. Broadbent preaches on The Parable of the Mustard Seed.
