Micah 6 Covenant

In response to Micah’s call to faithfulness and Jesus’ similar call to discipleship through justice, mercy, and humble communion with God, the Membership of First Congregational Church of Colorado Springs commits ourselves to active participation as a Micah 6 Congregation. We make this covenant as part of a broader community of Micah 6 Congregations which support each other in living the vision of Micah 6:8. The prophet proclaims justice, mercy and humble communion as three dimensions of a life of faithfulness. Micah 6 Congregations will embody this integrated vision in our ministries of justice, kindness, and spiritual growth. We will enrich all ministries with Micah 6 commitments and insight so that all areas of church life witness to the full breadth of our discipleship.
