A Course in MiraclesA study group for A Course in Miracles
(ACIM) meets in Classroom 2 on the first and third Tuesdays of each
month. ACIM is a self study course consisting of three sections: A
Text, a Workbook For Students, and a Manual For Teachers. The Course
was taken down by a research psychologist, more than three decades ago,
who heard an inner voice dictating the material to her. It is clear
from the Text that the author is Jesus. The Course deals with
universal spiritual themes and makes a fundamental distinction between
the real and the unreal, between knowledge and perception. The theme
of our illusion of separation from God is explored and explained in
terms of ego, fear, guilt, attack and defense. The theme of our
remembrance, atonement, and resurrection in God is taught by correction
for errors of perception, forgiveness and love for our brothers and
sisters. We are aided in our quest for awakening by the Holy Spirit's
gift --- Christ's Vision. Contact members Brad Marten and Charles Kiskiras with questions about the study group's approach to learning A Course in Miracles.
Soul Feast Sessions of Soul Feast meets on Thursdays, at 9:00 am in the Chapel.
This worship and spirituality group gathers as a safe and nurturing community welcoming
differences and encouraging creative exploration of God’s involvement
in our lives through study, prayer, and spiritual practice. For more information, contact Rev. Bruce Sage at brucesage251@msn.com
