CHILD INFORMATION UPDATE
Over the past few months we have noticed much of our information for the children of this church is either outdated or missing. We ask you to complete the attached Survey to help us update child and youth information to better serve our members at FCUCC in Colorado Springs, Colorado.
Any information collected will be held in confidentiality and will only be accessible to authorized Church personnel and used for Church related activities, such as celebrating birthdays at Sunday School or engraving Bibles with your child's full name. We appreciate any comments you may have, so feel free to contact Christian Education Director Lyn Boudreau or Youth Director Jeffrey Dodson at any time.

“I was hungry, and you gave me food”
ESM PANTRY DRIVE LAUNCHED

Rev. Benjamin Broadbent recently delivered a children’s message that included this bit of information: It costs $60 to feed a family of four in the Pikes Peak region for three days according to Ecumenical Social Ministries (ESM), an agency supported by FCC's Mission Giving & Outreach (MG&O) and the other downtown churches. Churches have always played a major role in feeding the hungry, and the ESM food pantry is an excellent example. ESM’s food pantry, like those across the nation, is struggling to keep up with demand.
FCC’s efforts to replenish the ESM pantry will extend through the summer. Please bring nonperishable food items and toiletries to the church or drop spare change and dollars into the tin cans that will be passed during the Sunday offering. Or just send a check to the church office.
Matthew 25 contains the following verse: “For when I was hungry, you gave me food; when thirsty, you gave me drink…” Please consider prayerfully this question: What will I do, this summer and beyond, for the “least of these”? Click for additional information: ESM Pantry Drive.

STATE HISTORICAL FUND ANNOUNCEMENT
We are pleased to announce that the church has received a grant award of $14,640 from the State Historical Fund (SHF) for a interior restoration plan..  This award brings the total of SHF funds granted  to $587,912.
Thank You, State Historical Fund (SHF) for more than one half a million dollars.

The State Historical Fund, a program of the Colorado Historical Society, is a nationally recognized program that awards grants to public and no-profit organizations to preserve and interpret Colorado’s architectural and archaeological treasures.
