(conferred February 19, 1999) First Congregational  United Church of Christ (UCC) in Colorado Springs is the 272nd Church to become Open and Affirming (OnA).  As of today, there are 634 OnA Churches within the United Church of Christ.  More information is on the UCC Coalition for Lesbian, Gay, Bisexual, and Transgender Concerns  national  website.
