SHEKHINAH: A MOVEMENT MINISTRY
The Movement Ministry of First Congregational Church began in June 2005, founded
by Jenny Finn, church member and movement educator. She began this ministry with
a Saturday Movement Practice (now CommuniDance) that was with the church until
April 2008. CommuniDance began it's own path as a community group, leaving the
church in April 2008 and continuing on it's path of creating community through
music, movement and dance. In January 2008, Shekhinah: A Movement Ministry of
FCC was born. The mission of Shekhinah is to invite the members of FCC and
the larger community to embody the healing love of God through movement. Please
see below for details on our current offerings.
