2009 MICAH 6 AWARDS DINNER
In April 2009 the Justice & Peace Committee presented awards to Paul Carpenter, Ann Skinner, Bill Taylor & Mary Jane Ray. They have been representatives of the principle of which we sing regularly: “To do justice, and love kindness, and walk humbly with your God.”
Award recipients were recognized on April 26. For the occasion, we were pleased to welcome as our speaker Dr. Miguel De La Torre, Associate Professor of Social Ethics & Director of the Justice and Peace Institute at Iliff School of Theology. Dr. De La Torre’s talk was entitled: “Trails of Terror: Immigration from the Perspective of the Undocumented.”
